She added that people kiss each other, but that doesn’t happen around a corner as it is more of a deprived expression of emotion for Indians.

Later in the interview, Aishwarya also revealed that living with her family is a topic of discussion in the West. Oprah agreed with her and pointed out how American parents deport their children when they are 30 years old. In her response, Aishwarya said, “In India it’s more about family, living together and staying connected and it’s probably the most beautiful and the most special. thing. ”Aishwarya Rai also explained the concept of arranged marriage in India and called it a dating service where the parents of two people study each other’s background and set up a meeting.

Finally, Aishwarya Rai also taught Oprah how to wear a sari. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star brought a pink and white saree and helped Oprah drape it. Oprah Winfrey apparently loved the traditional outfit and thanked Aishwarya for draping it for her.
