New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday instructed district magistrates in various districts to work on time-bound targets.

“We need to achieve 100% saturation between services and facilities for each district with a time-limited goal and create a roadmap of short visions for the districts that can be completed within the next two years,” said the Prime Minister during an interaction with the district. magistrates by videoconference.

He further instructed the deputy ministers to plan 10 such tasks that can be completed within the next three months and improve people’s quality of life.

“Similarly, plan five such tasks that you can associate with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” the Prime Minister added.

Prime Minister Modi also instructed district magistrates to find the hidden potential in their respective districts.

The “One district, one product” is based on the potential of districts, noted the Prime Minister.

“It should be a mission for you to give your district a national and global image,” he said.

The Prime Minister also urged District Magistrates to implement ‘Vocal for Local’ in their respective districts. “For this, you will need to identify the competence of your respective district and make the value chain stronger,” he said.

“India is witnessing a silent revolution in the advancement of digital infrastructure which is expected to reach every nook and cranny of these ambitious neighborhoods,” the Prime Minister said.

He also said the government has identified 142 districts in 22 states that lag behind in one or two aspirational district parameters. “We need to work in the same collective approach here too, as we do in the ambitious districts,” the prime minister said.
