Kerala Literature Festival is back for its 6th edition

Located along the shores of the Arabian Sea, the Kerala Literature Festival is set to be back for its sixth edition in 2022. Scheduled for January 20-23, 2022, the festival will host poets, artists, authors and famous celebrities. and activists at the confluence.

Scheduled to take place on the beaches of Calicut, the festival will include discussions on science and technology, art, cinema, politics, music, environment, history and politics among other genres. . The sixth edition of the festival will host more than two hundred sessions led by writers, experts and performers. The festival will also welcome more than four hundred speakers, including Jeffrey Archer, Ada Yonath, Abhijit Banerjee, Arundhati Roy, Remo Fernandes, Sagarika Ghose, Wendy Doniger, Shashi Tharoor, Manu S Pillai, Devdutt Pattanaik, Chris Kraus and Sudhir Kakar among others. .

And that’s not all. Literary extravagance will also include evening fireside chats, live music concerts, classical artists, theater and stage, as well as curated dining experiences with food trucks and ethnic cuisines.

Organized by the DC Kizhakemuri Foundation, the event, supported by the Government of Kerala and Kerala Tourism, registers a total attendance of over 3 lakhs.
