Karadi Path Hosts Live Chat on Insta During First Session of Art, Literature & Music Festival

The Get Set Parents Children’s Art, Literature and Music Festival with Vishwarang held its first session on Friday “Insta Live on Raising Good Readers” by Karadi Path. Karadi Path is an educational company that aims to facilitate the learning and reading of English. This live chat on Insta was moderated by Get Set Parent founder Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi.

She interacted with Karadi Path Vice President Preetika Venkatkrishnan, who emphasized good language comprehension in children and told them to tell stories in an interesting way.

Lavanya of the Karadi Path Education Company told the children a story called “The Story of the Lizard”. Through this story of a lizard, she explained to children how beautiful and different everyone is in their own way. ‘Kutti and the Mouse’ – a story of 7 children and their favorite treat – was told by N Lal Varghese. The story was written by Shobha Vishwanath and illustrated by Malavika.

The second Vishwarang session was a “character sketching and illustration” workshop by Nancy Raj. Nancy Raj is a well-known Madhubani art illustrator. She explained the nuances of Madhubani art during the session and explained the importance of Madhubani art through “Hanuman’s Ramayan”, a book written and illustrated by Devdutt Patnaik. She said that the illustrations in this book were done in the Madhubani art style, which made the book more Indian, more ethnic, more beautiful and more expressive. In the workshop, she taught children how to create different models of Madhubani art.

In the third session, “Story Telling by Rituparna Ghosh,” Your Story Bag founder Rituparna Ghosh told a story about Iceland to the children. She also scribbled the characters and pictures from the story and also taught children how to make doodle books.
