“Those who read the newspapers would know that a major banking scam has taken place. Whenever these major scams take place, people from a particular place are involved. In the scams, which had taken place earlier, a certain number of people came from that place,” said party leader Samajwadi.

“The money in the bank belongs to the poor. When a poor person wants to benefit from a loan, he must mortgage his land. But these big businessmen take a big loan from the banks, arrange a plane ticket and go to a foreign country,” he said.

Attacking the BJP, Yadav claimed that the ruling party had promised that people wearing “hawai chappal” (slippers) would travel by plane.

“But with diesel and gasoline becoming more and more expensive, the poor are unable to ride a motorbike. Farmers are facing difficulties due to rising prices. Therefore, the Samajwadi party has decided that if necessary, we will give free petrol,” he said.

Saying farmers had never faced so much hardship as under the ‘dual engine’ government, he promised free fertilizers for the poor and small farmers if the Samajwadi party-led alliance emerges victorious in the polls. Uttar Pradesh.

“If necessary, we will build buying centers and ‘mandis’, so that we can buy crops from farmers at a minimum support price.”

He also pledged compensation of up to Rs 5 lakh to the families of those killed by stray bulls in the state and reiterated that 300 units of electricity would be provided free of charge to domestic consumers.

Referring to the alleged gang rape and murder of a 19-year-old Dalit woman in Hathras in 2020, he said if there had been a hospital and treatment had been provided, the victim’s life could have been lost. be saved.

Hathras will go to the polls in the third phase on February 20.

Party leader Samajwadi has called the 2022 Assembly election the one that will save democracy.

Slamming the BJP government on the law and order situation in the state, he said, “Under the BJP regime, farmers were crushed by a minister’s son and most of the fake encounters happened. in the state. He pledged to build a memorial for the farmers who died during the anti-farm law agitation and pay compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the family of the farmers who had lost their lives.

Yadav also touched on the welfare of Hathras asafoetida traders, saying that all support will be provided to make the region’s asafoetida a global brand.
