Maye even shared an interesting anecdote with photos of Elon’s grandparents who flew to the World Heritage Site in Agra en route to Australia from South Africa in 1954.

Maye replied to Elon who earlier replied to one of his followers: “It’s amazing. I visited in 2007 and also saw the Taj Mahal which is truly a wonder of the world.”

Elon’s follower tweeted: “Amazing detail of the facade of the Red Fort in Agra, India.”
Maye also shared photos of her parents, in which her mother, Wyn, can be seen in front of the Taj Mahal.
In another photo, Elon’s grandfather, Joshua, is seen standing in front of a single-engine propeller plane.
One user replied, “Next time you must see the engineering marvel that is Kailasa Temple. It was built before the Mughals taught us engineering, architecture and made us super rich” .
Another posted: “How about coming back to set up a factory here?” Some followers even asked Elon to deliver the first Tesla in front of the Taj mahal.
Musk said he faces challenges from the government in marketing his products in India.
“Tesla is not in India yet due to ‘challenges with the government’,” he posted.
Musk has said he wants to launch cars in India, but the country’s import duties on electric vehicles are “by far the highest in the world”.
