‘Brahmastra’ will bring Indian culture to the world, says Rajamouli-Entertainment News, Firstpost

Stating that a film like “Brahmastra” will bring Indian culture to the world, SS Rajamouli of “RRR” and “Baahubali” said on Wednesday that what he liked most about Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming magnum opus is c is that it is a commercial way of telling the story of the “astras”.

Attending a press conference ahead of the release in Chennai, director ace, who is presenting the film, said that ‘brahmastra‘ is not only one of the most anticipated films, but also one of the most expensive productions of the year.

“Ayan dreamed of creating a world we had never seen before – the beautiful world of the astras that we learned from our history, our puranas,” Rajamouli said.

“Children, we have heard of these astras but we have never seen their splendor,” said the director of the ace.

“This is what Ayan dreamed of. It has been a long journey since 2014. It was ably supported by Karan Johar, Ranbir, Alia, Nagarjuna and Amit sir. Thank you all for including me on this fantastic journey,” he added.

Explain why he loved ‘brahmastra‘ so much, Rajamouli said, “Creating a world that Ayan created is not easy. Ayan created a power that still has limits. He provided the opportunity to create a greater villain and also created a perspective for the fight for good to win over evil. It’s not like a fairy tale. It’s like a commercial way of telling the story of the astras. That’s what I love about ‘brahmastra‘.”

Continuing to explain why he loved the film, the director added, “Ayan made sure that among all the astras, including ‘Vanara Astra‘, ‘Agni Astra‘, ‘jalastra‘ and ‘brahmastra‘ – love is the strongest. Not just by saying that fact in the dialogues, he made sure his point of view gets through. This love will prevail over everything.
