One official of the International Olympic Committee has come to the defence of Jamaican Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt, who has been criticised for his victory celebrations in Beijing. The IOC president, Jacques Rogge knocked the 22-year-old, for what he said was a lack of respect towards his opponents. But the head of the IOC's athletes commission Frankie Fredericks, has defended Bolt's performance before and after the races. "You can't tell a guy who has run 9.69 seconds how to react," said Mr Frederick, a former sprinter from Namibia. He also said maybe that is Bolt's way of expressing himself to say 'I have done something no one else has done'.
