Barbee
& Beenie Video Hot!!
Thursday, November 8th, 2007
Barbee has lots to
say about her hot newly completed video with Beenie
Man: "I'm excited about the out come of the video
because it shows a different side of me compared to
the first video entitled 'Missing You' feat. Junior
Kelly. My family, friends and the dollets were
involved and it's a colorful, sexy, yet playful
video. I find this song to be one of my favorites
cause it promotes females to be confident and the
beat shows both sides of my culture Jamaican and
Nigerian." The sultry singer who has just
wrapped up the video shoot which was shot on
location in Forest Park, Queens, New York under the
direction of Scenario and Scuba (who has directed
videos for the likes of 50 Cent and Fabulous) is
very happy with it all. According to
Barbee the video will definitely be something to see
and she can't wait until it is premiered in about
two weeks time. Then she acknowledged the rest of
the world will get to see and love it too.
The Paddy Cake/Diva In My Sneaker high budget music
video was shot on film making it a cut above most of
the other music videos. It also features Acid Ladies
from the Bronx and six-year-old Grenadian
choreographer Hanan. In addition, there were cameos
from the members of G Unit and Sporty Thieves camp.
The treatment was done by Paris Reid.
Macka
Diamond, Natural Black and
Lutan
Fyah
LIVE in Suriname

They are back home
in Jamaica, but not before doing Dancehall and
Reggae music justice.
The place was Flamboyant Park in Suriname. The
day was Saturday, November 3rd, and for the over
8,000 Surinamese citizens who came out to witness
performances from the likes of Dancehall diva, Macka
Diamond, alongside Natural Black and Lutan Fyah,
there was no disappointment as all three did
themselves and the musical genre
they
represented justice. Natural Black was smooth and
charismatic, Lutan was potent and assertive, but it
was Macka Diamond who had the mostly female audience
eating out of her hands, proving that no matter
where in the world you go, the same is true, there
is simply no quenching the fire, BUN HIM!!!
The
Doctor Vs. The Man From Mars
Who will win this
highly anticipated match up at Game Over, World
Clash?
New York, NY - As
Game Over sets the last and final details of
World Clash New York's 10th anniversary
on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Amazura,
there has been a
lot of commotion in the streets over who will win
the Celebrity Cup Clash between Beenie Man and Tony
Matterhorn. Although both Beenie Man and Tony
Matterhorn consider themselves artists now-a-days,
success in this match up will boil down to the true
selector elements of mic skills, music selection and
audience control.
Tony
Matterhorn is no stranger to the World Clash stage.
In fact, he made his solo clash debut on this very
stage many years ago. Tony's transition from
selector to artiste has been whole heartedly
embraced by the dancehall massive. With "Dutty
Wine," topping the charts in almost every country -
followed by "Goodas Fi Dem" and other hits, Tony
Matterhorn has made great strides. But every
dancehall fan yearns to see Tony occasionally flex
his clashing skills. Great speeches, chock-full of
humor and wit, make Tony an ideal clash contender
for this Celebrity Cup Clash. "It's not an
artist clash, it's dub for dub," Tony Matterhorn
confidently uttered. "I am the one who will win this
clash there is no way Beenie Man can defeat me in MY
world where I am the best entertainer."
Those in favor of Beenie taking this Celebrity Cup
Clash should not despair, as Beenie is secure with
this talent. "I am looking forward to this clash
since I have a good knowledge of sound systems,"
declared "The Doctor." "This knowledge will prove
that I have conquered all aspects of the
dancehall-so, I will kill my competition in this
clash!"
Game Over's
stellar line-up also includes some of the industry's
leading heavy hitters with a Vintage Cup Clash
between Ninja Man & David Rodigan, and the The Main
Event, which features a spectacular clash of World
Clash champions including: Black Kat (2003 & 2004),
Mighty Crown (1999), Bass Odyssey (2001 & 2006),
Rebel Tone (2002) and Sentinel (2005.)
